"Reza Saintsbury used tweezers to place each seed smack in the middle of the sterile aeroponic pads. Each pad went into the vertical germination chamber, where it was spaced precisely two inches apart, one on top the other, for the first five days of growth. After five days, Reza rotated the chamber to horizontal, and all the little seed pads shifted in their cradles until they were side by side."
